She finally arrived and oh, how we've missed her!!
Grammy came to stay with us for a week and although we missed Papa Jim, we were really glad to have Grammy all to ourselves. As any parent of an active toddler knows, time and rest is hard to come by (ever) and having an extra pair of hands for a whole week is like a gift from God. We loved having Grammy's company and help around the house, and most especially, we loved watching Leighton get to spend lots of quality time with her.
Grammy loves to take pictures so I apologize in advance for the photo overload in this post. I tried to narrow down the 300+ pictures she took this week...
Didn't even let Grammy get through the front door before water table time
I tickle you, you tickle me
Fun game. Learning how to "chees" (cheers)
So sweet
Hugs and kisses to my "bebe"

Early evening walk with Grammy (of course, "bebe" had to go along too)
Grammy took Mama's place at the Teddy Bear Picnic at school

Then never-ending slide fun at home
Not feeling so great all of the sudden. Time for snuggles.
Coloring and cornhole games outside at lunch

Our week with Grammy was perfect. She's only been gone one day and we already miss her to the moon and back. We love you, Grammy!
