Christmas-time is my absolute favorite time of year. The tree, the lights, the present-wrapping, the decorations, it's all so cheery and magical. I wish we could keep up our Christmas decorations year-round.
Thanksgiving was a little later than usual this year, so we got our tree this past Friday after Thanksgiving Day. With a little help from Uncle Tyler in town (and Grammy here to keep Leighton for a couple hours), the 9-ft Christmas tree addition was no problem at all!

After 3 trips to and from Lowes in 12 hours, the outside decorations are up, the tree is up, and the lights are on! No ornaments yet, and 7 more red and green decoration boxes to go, but we're getting there. Baby steps.
