We returned this afternoon from a fun-filled weekend in Atlanta, where we kicked off Hannah and Ricky's wedding festivities with a "magnolias and moonlight" engagement party hosted by Jan and Kent's dear friends at the Ridalls' house. What a fabulous party! The hosts really did an amazing job - from the flowers, to the food, to all the beautiful set-up and decorations - everything was perfect.

Leighton came along for the party and was an angel even though it was a pretty long night for her. We kept her up until 9:30 pm, over an hour later than usual, and put her to bed upstairs. She went down with no problems leaving Mommy and Daddy to enjoy the rest of the evening with family and friends.
So many of Hannah and Ricky's college and Columbia friends made the trip to Atlanta to celebrate along with tons of Jan and Kent's Atlanta friends. Everyone had a lot of fun, so much, in fact, that the party didn't end until almost midnight! It was truly a special night enjoyed by all.
