Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo fell on a Saturday this year and guess what that means? Double dose of mexican food for this girl (on Friday AND Saturday)! If you know me, you know that I could eat mexican every day of the year so Cinco de Mayo is quite possibly one of my very favorite holidays. On Friday night, we went to the usual, Sr. Tequila, for some tacos and margaritas to top off a long week. Leighton loves Sr. T and can't wait until she can partake in eating yummy mexican food (it will be a long while before she can enjoy the margaritas too... if her Dad, who says she's never allowed to drink alcohol, ever lets her have one)! On Saturday morning, the actual "cinco de mayo," we walked around the farmers' market downtown and then headed to the outdoor festivities at Juanita Greenbergs for a late lunch. It was super hot, so we didn't last long sitting outside, but the food and margaritas were delicious.
I want mexican food too!!

Ok, compromise. Milk for me and a margarita for Mommy.

Thinking about this whole big sister love thing

Evening tummy time with Daddy is my favorite
