So, our little girl is becoming quite the traveler these days. It's been a busy summer for our family thus far and there are quite a few more weekend adventures to come this summer and fall. Lucky for us, Leighton has been a pleasant passenger for a majority of our road trips and we hope that continues as she gets older and likely, more restless, on future trips.
We just returned from a fabulous wedding weekend in Highlands, North Carolina where my cousin Campbell, and his beautiful new wife, Amy, got married. Taylor had a deposition in Spartanburg the Friday before the wedding, so we headed up Thursday night and stayed in Spartanburg for the night. This was L's second hotel experience and she didn't want to leave.

Taylor checked out of the deposition at 2:00 and on to Highlands we went. Leighton couldn't wait to see her Grammy and Papa Jim, and she expressed that in the most overwhelming way the last 20 minutes of our drive up through the mountains. That was fun. We stayed in a beautiful mountain house with my parents, my Aunt Sherry, and my cousin Marshall and his wife, Jen. We had such a special time spending the weekend with my family (and the entire Walker clan)!
Grammy time...
Yay!!
Happy girl at lunch
Campbell and Amy's wedding was perfect from beginning to end. Amy didn't miss a beat planning each and every detail. What a fun night! Here are just a few pics of the fam from the wedding.
