Well, Ladybug didn't know it, but her Halloween costume this year was (appropriately) pre-determined about 3 months ago. We figured we should take advantage of the first, and probably last, Halloween where she didn't have a say in her costume attire. I went on a search for the perfect ladybug costume, keeping in mind Dad's reminder not to spend a fortune on an outfit she will wear only once. Done. And pretty happy with my good find. Not only that, L surprisingly loved it so much, she wore it from 10 am until bath/bedtime!
Ladybug had a playdate, ate lunch, took a walk to the park, went out to dinner with Mom and Dad, and went trick-or-treating to a few houses (all in full costume) before finally calling it a day. I'm not sure which one of us thought it was more fun. She was so precious and snuggly all day. We love our little Bug!
