Our second Christmas just the three of us, and it was wonderful.
My mom came down with the stomach bug the day before they were supposed to head down here for the holidays, so they decided not to come, and Taylor's parents came to Charleston the day after Christmas. So it was just the three of us on Christmas morning. So peaceful. So relaxing. And what a magical time watching Leighton's joy as she opened her gifts, although we're pretty sure she liked the wrapping paper and boxes more than what was inside.

He did! He brought me lots of presents, and a choo-choo!
