Yeah. This girl. Cute right? Not so much. The "terrible two's" (which we thankfully didn't experience) has nothing on the three's. Leighton has recently learned the art of talking back, among other things. It's been a rough couple of weeks with no shortage of tantrums, timeouts and various discipline tactics. And the sleep disruption (refusing naps and waking at various times in the middle of the night) this month hasn't helped.
Yes, we know this is just a phase and it will pass, but sooner rather than later would be nice. Dear God, pretty please bring back our sweet, polite, little girl. Oh, and maybe some patience and a couple full nights of sleep for us again would be nice, also.

On a happier note, I received a shipment this afternoon with my newly repaired nice camera. Yay! Just in time to snap the above picture post naptime today. Three short minutes before her 100th meltdown of the day...
