Today, we celebrate the 100th birthday of one very special woman in my life. For those of you who may not have the pleasure of knowing her, Dina (a.k.a. "Lillian", then "Dillion", then "Dina") is like a grandmother to me. She's been a part of the Walker/Johnson family for 60+ years, helped raise my mom, and then helped my parents raise me. She is, by far and away, the most genuinely selfless, loving woman unconditionally devoted to her family, her friends, and God. She's always happy and positive, even at 100 years old, I have literally never heard her say one unkind word in my life. I can say without a doubt there is not a more kind or gentle human being on this planet. Dina has taught me so many things throughout every stage of my life (including how to iron and fold bed sheets :)), and I am truly blessed to have her in my life as a role model for so many things, but most importantly, love and faith.
Happy 100th Birthday to this truly amazing, beautiful woman, inside and out
My mom, Aunt Sherry, and Uncle Bill organized and pulled off a 100th birthday surprise party this past weekend for Dina, with all of her friends and family from near and far, and Leighton and I took a "girls trip" up to Grammy's house for the long Memorial Day weekend to celebrate. I was so excited for Leighton to have the chance to meet Dina, and Leighton was beside herself with excitement for the (what she thinks is her first) airplane ride to Cincinnati.
This girl is ready to rock and roll
Flight delayed. Silly selfies in the airport to pass time.
Off we go!
Saturday morning ~ Grammy stocked the house with new toys and games
Then Sunday was PARTY time!
The party guest of honor, then and now
I think we can safely say the 3-hour party with 100+ people wore this girl out
Refreshed from a nap and ready for early evening park fun with Grammy

We had an awesome weekend in Cincinnati with family and it was hard to leave (as always) but Leighton can't wait to see Grammy and Papa Jim again in a few days when they come to Charleston to take over childcare for a week and a half while we're away!! In the meantime, here are some pictures of Daddy and Harrison's boys weekend...
