For the past few weeks, L has been using the army-crawl as her main mode of transportation. She has made constant attempts at a real crawl, wobbling on all fours and trying to make her leg and arms communicate to move forward, usually to find herself face-planted into the floor and back to a stomach pull/army crawl.
I reeeally want that paci
A few weeks ago (right around her nine month birthday), we took the above picture (and a video) and documented the event as "the first crawl." However, it took until yesterday or so to really get it down, and now she's off!
She's been crawling around the play area, kitchen and den, exploring and pulling up on everything she sees. Gone are the days of the baby who just sits in one place playing with her toys. She's mobile now and you can't take your eyes off of her!
