Well, this is the second year in a row Taylor and I didn't host the annual Labor Day holiday in Charleston. Last year, I was very pregnant and just not feeling up to it. This year, well, we have our hands full with a very sweet 9 month old and didn't get around to planing it far enough in advance. Instead, we received an invite from the Drexlers to stay at their family's vacation home in Nantucket and the offer was too good to pass up. Not to mention we try not to miss out on any opportunity to spend time with college friends.
So... thanks to our favorite sister, Hannah (and with a little extra help from the family), who stayed home with Leighton, Taylor and I were able to spend a lovely four days in Nantucket with the Drexlers and Rogers (and Baby Elle). It was a wonderful, relaxing, and much-needed vacation for us and we couldn't be more thankful for long weekend break from reality.
A big thanks to Meghan and Mike for their hospitality making for a perfect weekend, to the Drexlers for letting us use their gorgeous vacation home, and to Aunt Hannah for relieving us of parental duties to enjoy the fabulous weekend!
