Christmas 2014

We were very fortunate to avoid traveling for Christmas this year. Let's be honest, two kids + holiday travel and delays = nightmare. Grammy, Papa Jim and Uncle Tyler headed our way and enjoyed a week-long stay at our house. The kids were thrilled and loved all the extra attention. There is nothing better than a house full of family for the holidays.

Sidenote: My nice camera recently met its match with the ground. A very sad day. It and its 17 parts have been shipped off for repair. My mom brought her nice camera down and made up for lost time taking one million (or more?) pictures the week she was here. So I apologize in advance for the photo overload this post.
First morning and Grammy's already up early and on duty

And they sure missed Uncle Tyler and Papa Jim too

The big reveal... we're off to London and Paris this summer!

Christmas Day
Looks like Santa came!

And Santa brought Leighton the one thing she really wanted... an Anna dress!

Leighton insisted she wasn't tired.

Opening presents on Christmas morning was a little overwhelming,
so Grammy saved one last present for later in the day...
 A new big girl bicycle!
And a Elsa and Anna princess helmet from Uncle Tyler!

Leighton loved her first big girl bike and actually learned pretty quickly how to ride it.

We sure do miss everyone a lot. A very merry Christmas indeed!
