The big first birthday is just around the corner and with that comes quite a few big girl transitions for our little munchkin. Switching from formula to whole milk was a breeze. Ok, so maybe she tossed the first few bottles across the room, but she got used to it pretty quickly. Whew. L's school year starts Dec. 3rd and that's one less thing for this mama to worry about.
Then there's the whole weaning from the bottle. Hmmm, maybe we'll start that next week.. or the week after. Something makes me think that transition won't go quite as well.
Next, it's out with the old infant carseat and in with the new big girl carseat. It's hard to believe she was barely big enough to fill what seemed like a ginormous infant carseat at the time and now she's bursting out of it!

I wake up happy, reenergized, and ready to play/get into everything again!
Last but not least, Thanksgiving is quickly approaching (where did this year go?!?) and we're preparing for a trip to TN to see Nannie and the family. Hopefully the drive isn't as difficult as people say it is with a very active toddler in tow. We'll see.
