This week was Aunt Hannah's spring break and rather than go somewhere fun with friends, she came to Charleston to stay with us for the week. Probably not her ideal spring break (well, compared to college spring breaks in the past), but we loved having her here. She is so good with Leighton, which is a huge help for me, and it's so fun to have her company all week. We worked out every morning, went shopping, ran errands, cooked, went out, and even found some time for some relaxation here and there. It was wonderful.
Leighton really loves her Aunt Hannah so much and we hope she and Uncle Ricky move down to Charleston soon!
On another note, we reached another milestone on Friday. Leighton rolled over for the first time! She's been so close for the past few weeks but hasn't managed to actually push herself over until today. We were changing her diaper before her first bottle of the day, and Taylor insisted that she was close to rolling over and we should go put her on her playmat. I told him that was a terrible idea because she likes her first bottle within 30 mins of waking and that was pushing it. But he was right (that's a rare occasion, by the way). He put her down, she smiled, thought about it for a second, and there she went - rolled over onto her back. We caught it on video, but unfortunately didn't get any pictures. Oh well, next time!
